I’m Andee—yes, that’s really on my birth certificate! (LOL!) I’m a graphic designer who loves digital design, typography, production, and vector-based illustrations. I have experience in large-format printing, sublimation, and a range of other printing techniques. Nothing beats the feeling of delivering a final product, whether digital or tangible. I love to create a final product that evokes an emotion in someone.
My friends would say I’m (respectfully) sarcastic and a silly goose, but also diligent, fiercely loyal, and realistic. I know when it's okay to have fun and when I need to put my nose to the grindstone. I started my career in retail and customer service (in-person and call center), later moving into medical office management. These experiences shaped my ability to provide outstanding customer service, teaching me patience, empathy, and privacy, as well as how to communicate effectively with all personalities.
I stumbled into design when a friend introduced my husband and me to sublimation and engraving. At the time, I was a stay-at-home mom to 4 children and a caretaker to a newly disabled veteran who was trying to find his place. One curiosity spiral later, we took the leap in 2013 and invested in professional printing equipment (a Roland Eco solvent printer and a dye sublimation printer). I started at YouTube University, where I learned CorelDRAW. Our first major project was an elementary school fundraiser, where we scanned kids’ drawings to create sublimated products. From there, it expanded into sign-making, large-format decals, banners, and print design.
Wanting to level up, I utilized my husband’s GI Bill to attend Madison College for Graphic Design, where I honed my skills in Adobe, concept development, logo design, typography, photo editing, social media, and motion graphics. I love creating clean, engaging visuals that connect with people through branding, marketing materials, production pieces, and digital content.
Running a home-based business taught me invaluable hands-on skills in design and production. Still, it also made me realize that my true passion lies in the creative work itself, not in the mundane complexities of running a business. I’m excited to bring my skills to a company where I can focus on what I do best: designing, creating, and collaborating.
I excel in a constantly evolving environment where I can flex my creative muscles, take ownership of my goals, and proactively drive results. Still, I love collaborating with a team to achieve company goals. I am always eager to learn new techniques. I’m excited about opportunities in production design, branding, and marketing—anywhere I can bring ideas to life and make an impact!
